- Plumbing & Sanitary: Fixing leaks, faulty taps, clogged drains, and ensuring proper water pressure.
- Carpentry & Fixtures: Doors, locks, windows, cabinets, wardrobes, handles.
- Appliances & Fittings: Checking built-in appliances, sanitary wares, kitchen/bathroom fittings.
3. Documentation & Communication
- Rectification Schedule: Contractors/maintenance team plan timelines for each defect.
- Supervision & Coordination: Property manager or consultant monitors works to ensure quality.
- Handover Report: Updated status report issued after rectifications are done.
- Acknowledgment Form: Signed off by the receiving party once all issues are resolved.
4. Post-Rectification Duties
- Final Inspection: Joint walkthrough to confirm all items are fixed.
- Quality Check: Ensure workmanship meets standards (painting touch-ups, leak tests, electrical safety checks).
